I had the absolute pleasure of having dinner at Chapter & Verse, and oh my goodness, everything was pure magic! ✨ The food was absolutely incredible, and the vibe was so cozy and wonderful. Every single staff member greeted us with the biggest, warmest smiles. A huge, special shoutout to Vivek, the venue/bar manager he is seriously the coolest and made our night so extra special! 🥰 Thank you so much, Vivek! We can’t wait to come back for more happy memories! ❤️Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Amazing memories made at this resort. Appalling Operations and service quality failure at JW Marriott I had booked a spa treatment for 11:00 am on Friday, but when I arrived, I was told that the reservation was actually for 10:15 am. The spa receptionist initially insisted that a confirmation email had been sent for 10:15 am. However, when I showed her my confirmation email clearly stating 11:00 am, she apologised and explained that they could now only provide a one hour facial. I had booked a complete package and had taken time off work and driven to and from the Marriott, so this was extremely frustrating. Initially, no alternative options or meaningful reconciliation were offered. When I suggested returning another day to receive the full package, I was eventually given another date and told that a masque could be added as compensation in a very condescending manner, as the error was on their side. The receptionist also took a photo of my confirmation email to show the IT team. The handling of the situation was disappointing from start to finish. I was not offered water, nor was any information about parking provided until I specifically asked. These are basic courtesies I would expect from a luxury hotel, particularly after such a significant booking error. My husband had booked this for me to give me some time to myself as I hardly get to pamper myself being a mother to a young toddler. We had booked a baby sitter as well for the other. However the whole experience left a bad taste overall. Taking time away from work and making the journey to the Marriott only to have my appointment mishandled was a very unpleasant experience. This level of service is not what I would expect from JW Marriott, and unfortunately, I do not feel confident booking another treatment or service with the hotel. Marriott can and should do better. Update: I was told by the lobby manager that Stacey the space manager would contact me but I didn’t receive any communication from them. Extremely disappointed, I called them to raise a formal complaint with guest relations and was assigned a case number 919821908. There’s still not been any communication from them..Posted on GoogleTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Spending 3 days at the Marriott on a weekend away, amazing experience, best hotel we have stayed at in Australia. The children absolutely adore the facilities, spending all day at the pool. Fabulous service and hosting by the pool bar staff, especially Harry and Stan, who have gone out of their way to ensure we are having the best experience! Thank you so much for making this such a pleasurable holiday.
